- There are 20 kids. They all want to go on the roller coaster but only half can go. How many can go on the ride?
- There are 12 sand castles built and 1/4 of them are broken. How many are broken?
- There are 12 dogs in total. Half are wild. How many are not wild?
- There are 42 kids in the classroom. Half of the kids went to phys. ed. How many kids are still in the class?
- There were 9 books at the library. 1/3 of them were taken. How many are left?
- There are 20 kids. 10 of them are girls. What fraction of them are boys?
- There are 6000 people at the mall. 3000 people leave. What is the fraction of the people that are leaving?
- There are 18 people playing soccer. Each team has 9 players. What fraction of the players are on each team?
- Thee are 10 kids at the park. Half of them are on the swing set. The other half are on the slide. How many are on the slide?
