*For this field trip students will need to bring their lunch, their sketchbook and a pencil. Please ensure your child's backpack is as empty as possible as they will need to carry it around the Weaselhead Flats!

*Students will be exploring a delicate natural area, and it is very important that we use the time at Weaselhead Flats as productively and respectfully as possible. Please stress that though we are outside, we need to be quiet while at the Weaselhead Flats. We will be acting as Wildlife Biologists; observing and taking in all that we can!

*Right now the weather for tomorrow states it will be around 10 degrees. I would suggest dressing in layers so students can bundle up or down depending on how warm they feel! We will be outside the entire time we are there!

Volunteers receive advanced training and commit to two 45-minute sessions each week for a total of about 40 sessions. Volunteers must have previously worked as a Wee Read volunteer or have an Education background.
